Best Western Bastrop Pines Inn

Did the job and the rate was appropriate (value) for the room. Stayed here for F1 race at COTA and it was perfect for that special purpose it was very easy to drive to the race as you approaching from the east and avoid getting tangled up in Austin traffic. The staff was always polite, room and general areas were very clean, quite location, shower was always hot with strong pressure, AC worked and GREAT location made it a home run. There are many dining options nearby: Chipotle, Chili’s, Chic-a-fila, Southside BBQ (ate here 3 nights), & Texas Grill (best breakfast all 3 mornings!). The rooms are a little tired including the mattress but the very large room fridge helped us overcome that shortfall as we could store 20 bottles of water!

For a hotel of this type, I normally have low expectations. Those expectations were absolutely subverted by this best western, some of the best maintained facilities I’ve seen from a best western, or any hotel in general, as well as the absolute best service I’ve ever received. Rolando and Melissa provided the best customer service I’ve experienced at any hotel, and were incredibly polite and helpful throughout my entire stay. Whatever they are being paid is not enough. If you’re staying in this area on a budget, I cannot recommend this hotel enough, you will get more value for your money than anywhere else.

Rolando the front desk receptionist 2nd shift has a great and pleasant and very kind person he had no hesitation on going above and Beyond of helping me out with toothpaste cause I've had for got mine at another hotel he gave me a tooth paste and later after check-in I went back to ask for a extra bed sheet blanket to sleep more comfortable for the night awesome guy I really appreciate him for making my stay more comfortable rooms are very clean and Cable on tv works like at home and Ac in room is super clean you'll to adjust thermostat on the wall not on the ac so if anybody stays here and trying lower ac to be more cool to sleep at to move tempature it's on the wall of the closet and it's works as it should shout out to Rolando awesome guy.

After a terrible sleepless night at the Hampton Inn and suites Bastrop, we decided to stay here and let me tell you we got the same type king suite for $20 less, the room was clean, bed was comfortable and it was a nice and quiet location. The staff was extremely friendly kind and attentive. If your in Bastrop this is the place to stay!! Highly recommend this Best Western

They had just added WiFi and another TV in the dinner room. Breakfast was mid, the eggs were more water than eggs and the bacon was see through thin. The rooms were clean and the restroom was immaculate. That was nice the AC was top notch. Outdated carpet and decor. Staff was friendly. Pool looked clean.

Stayed here for a wedding, and the experience was amazing! The staff was by far the friendliest I’ve ever encountered at a hotel. The rooms were spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. Once again, the entire team was fantastic—especially Rolando!
